Child Care Health Consultants

The National Association for Education of Young Children (NAEYC) is a nationally recognized organization which sets professional standards for early childhood programs caring for children from birth through age eight. Since 1985 NAEYC has offered a voluntary accreditation system to early childhood programs to help them meet these professional standards and to help parents identify high quality programs. NAEYC accreditation has since become the mark of quality for early childhood education.

As part of the accreditation, child care programs are required to contract with a licensed pediatric health professional to help with its health practices and written policies  on the prevention of infections, illnesses,  and injuries.

The providers with Pediatric Associates are committed to helping ensure that our community’s children grow up healthy and strong.

In support of that commitment, Pediatric Associates will provide, at no cost,  a healthcare professional that can be a resource for any questions regarding any health and safety issues, such as immunizations, nutrition, injury prevention, development, disease management.  We can also provide training parents and staff within the child care facilities on site.

Pediatric Associates, the largest pediatric practice in Florida, has been caring for children since 1955. With 21 offices (link to Locations on website) throughout South Florida, we have the unique ability to offer a healthcare provider located nearby.
