Jonathan Malka, MD
Jonathan Malka, MD is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of Asthma and Allergies. As Director of Asthma/Allergy & Immunology at Pediatric Associates, he leads a team of doctors and nurses with the main goal of helping children and their families understand the reasons for their allergies and take steps to control and potentially eliminate allergic reactions.
As part of their diagnosis and treatment, Dr. Malka and his team offer skin testing for foods and environmental allergens. They also perform lung function testing, as well as measurement of airway inflammation. Dr. Malka’s specialty services include asthma evaluation and treatment of a wide range of conditions such as, food allergies, urticaria, rhinitis and eczema.
Dr. Malka is a native of Venezuela who earned his medical school diploma from the Universidad Central de Venezuela. He completed his pediatric residency at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore, Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He completed his fellowship at National Jewish Health in Denver, CO, Where he also joined the faculty before relocating in Florida. Dr. Malka is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, and the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology.
