PEDIATRIC ASSOCIATES EMPLOYEES PARTICIPATE IN LOCAL CORPORATE RUN 2006

About 135 physicians and staff of Pediatric Associates turned out for this year's Mercedes-Benz Corporate Run, joining 6,000 employees of Broward companies for the annual 5K Run to benefit the South Florida Lymphoma and Leukemia Society. This is the second year the staff of the area's largest private pediatric practice participated in the 3.1 mile race.

Pediatric Associates Marketing Department was honored for its creative and colorfully-designed bright yellow shirt by receiving FIRST PLACE in the race's T-Shirt contest.

Participating employees were treated to an after-race dinner party in the companies oversized tent followed by massages from private therapists.

The top four runners for Pediatric Associates were Andrew Reiss, M.D., lead physician of the Boca Raton office, Richard Bennett, D.O., lead physician for the Skylake office, Annette Shannon, Director of Finance, and Christina Urena, a physician for the Miami Lakes office.
