Rheumatology Resource Center

You’re not alone, arthritis is not uncommon and as many as 16% of the people in the U.S. (roughly 53 million) have allergies. The term arthritis covers more than 100 joint-related diseases and thus rheumatology is a highly specialized field. We’ve put together this Arthritis Resource Center as an easy access collection of documents, videos, common questions and websites which have proven beneficial to our patients in managing arthritis through the years.  If you have any questions please give us a call or ask a rheumatologist via our online form.

Dr. Kristina Wiers-Shamir is a Pediatric Rheumatologist with Pediatric Associates.  For more information about Dr. Shamir, please click here. See below for some additional resources relating to rheumatology in children.
