Come Over to My House by Dr. Seuss This book takes you around the World and teaches you what children eat, how they sleep, and different lifestyles in other countries.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
My motorized Jeep and all of my Barbies
Who is your greatest inspiration and why?
Mother Theresa and my parents.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Cheering on the Tar Heels! Watching sports. Working out. I geek out looking at the planets! Traveling Foodie!
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
I love helping kids
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
Caregivers, growing up can hard, but WE ARE A TEAM! Bringing your child
to the see me should be like going to see your trusted friend. I am down to earth and easy to talk to about anything. I engage with my patients and interact with them on their level. To help your little ones feel at ease, I am gentle and calm with your babies. I ask your young kids about their favorite superheroes, thing to do at school, or activities after school. My goal for your older kids is for them to feel comfortable with me. I want them to know they can count on me to be honest and real with them. I care about their mental and physical health. It really does take a village to raise children, but together, WE GOT THIS!
