The Jungle Book because Mowgli was left to be raised in a new environment where it was scary at first, but quickly he realized he had many friends and was capable of adapting to a new world, that although challenging, it left him with many teachings and best life experiences yet.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
Barbies and teddy bears
Who is your greatest inspiration?
My dad who faced many obstacles to leave Cuba to offer me a better future and has shaped me into the professional I am today.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Spending time with family and friends

What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
The children! Kids are inspiring from day 1 of life and are so resilient. They are capable of handling much more than adults will ever imagine; the fact that they have their whole lives ahead of them is what drives me to be the pediatrician they deserve.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
The best part of being a pediatrician is getting to know my patients and their families. Having the precious opportunity to listen whenever needed, to offer a hand, a smile.
I enjoy clarifying challenging questions/doubts they may have and most of all, the beauty of my job is that I get to work as a team with the parents for the well-being of my patients.
