What is your favorite animated movie or cartoon?
My favorite animated movie is Luca.
What is your favorite children's book?
My favorite children’s book is The Little Prince because I vividly remember my grandma reading it to me as a child before going to sleep.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
My favorite childhood toys were Barbie and Bratz dolls.
Who is your greatest inspiration?
My mother is my greatest inspiration because she continuously encouraged me to follow my dreams and further my education.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
I love to spend time with my family, play with my dog Honey, go to Pilates classes, and bake desserts using new recipes.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
I’ve always been drawn to working with children. My first job as a teenager was as a camp counselor, and I loved building connections with kids and supporting them as they grow. That experience led me to pursue pediatrics, and my passion has only grown through my work.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
As a Miami native and first-generation Hispanic provider fluent in English and Spanish, I’m able to connect with a diverse group of families. I focus on creating a warm, comfortable environment where parents feel heard and children feel safe. I take the time to listen, explain things clearly, and build trust with every family I care for.
