What is your favorite animated movie or cartoon?
Pete's Dragon, Lady and the Tramp
What is your favorite children's book and why?
The Magic Treehouse series because they incorporate parts of historical fiction with vivid imagination.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
My doll house.
Who is your greatest inspiration and why?
My grandmother because she was a self educated, self made business woman who successfully ran her own beauty shop for 50 years during a time when women did not work or own their own business.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Golf, travel
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
I am a pediatric cancer survivor and had some phenomenal pediatric nurses who inspired me during my childhood which made me want to work in pediatrics. I love working with families right from the beginning with their newborn and following them throughout their childhood.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
Jennifer Sibley, DNP, APRN, CPNP-PC, CLC is a board certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Certified Lactation Counselor. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. Joseph's College of Maine and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Florida. Jennifer brings 20 years of nursing experience from the neonatal and pediatric intensive care settings to her role at Ormond Pediatrics. She enjoys seeing newborns and helping new moms with breastfeeding, as well as following your child's development as they continue to grow.
