What is your favorite animated movie or cartoon?
Anything by Pixar
What is your favorite children's book and why?
I liked the Eloise series because she is a very imaginative, free-spirited child. She seemed to have fun adventures wherever she was in her worldwide stories.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
My bike
Who is your greatest inspiration and why?
Many of my female attendings during residency at UF.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Exercising/swimming, reading, traveling.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
I wanted to become a pediatrician since I was a little girl. I love learning in general and wanted to work with children.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
In general, it is my goal to make families feel comfortable with my approach and in coming up with a treatment plan for their children. I love working with kids and try to make our time together as positive as possible for them. I have watched many families grow over the last 15 yrs which I truly enjoy and I think my patients recognize and know that.
