What is your favorite animated movie or cartoon?
Any Bugs Bunny cartoon, and many of the Disney classics, especially Mulan
What is your favorite children's book and why?
The Big Red Barn. We read it to our children so often it became almost memorized

Anything baseball related
Who is your greatest inspiration and why?
My Mother!
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Gardening, golf, outdoors activities, music, and movies.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
Childhood illnesses and exposure to hospital setting, gained appreciation for the caring and healing. I received from the doctors and nurses.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
having been on the other side of the care team as a pediatric patient I can empathize with patients and families in ways others cant. I have been in the very scary bewildering position of being sick and needing the most from my care givers and providers
How do you accommodate patients with special needs?
office is handicapped accessible and i will position myself to be at eye level and take time to listen at what ever level my patient can communicate
