What is your favorite animated movie or cartoon?
As a mother of two, my favorite cartoon is definitely Bluey. It is a sweet cartoon with gentle humor and realistic everyday scenarios that Bluey and her sister navigate in an entertaining way.
What is your favorite children's book and why?
"The Little Engine That Could" by Watty Piper because it embodies themes of perseverance, optimism, and resilience. This demonstrates to children the mentality for self-belief and persistence when situations are challenging.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
May favorite toy was Legos. I enjoyed the challenge of building and creating.
Who is your greatest inspiration and why?
My greatest inspiration in life is my Mother. She is such a strong, hard-working, resilient, and kind woman that I strive to emulate everyday.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
I enjoy tennis, swimming, cycling, family time, and going to the beach.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
As a mother, I was inspired by my own experiences with my children. Realizing my community's need, I strive to provide compassionate and evidence-based care that is truly needed in the pediatric world today.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
I combine clinical experience with compassionate, family-centered care. By listening closely and communicating clearly, I ensure treatments are evidence-based, personalized, and foster open communication to best treat families and their children.
