Who is your greatest inspiration?
MY previous pediatrician, Dr. Ali. He was a role model I looked up to, and the one that inspired me to become a pediatrician myself.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Spending time with family. Going to the beach. Outdoor sports including soccer, hiking, and archery.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
My pediatrician served as a role model and equipped me with the tools my family and I needed to allow me to reach my highest potential. By providing patient-centered care, I hope to do the same for my patients and their families.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
I am passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based pediatric care while building genuine relationships with children and their families. I take time to listen, explain medical information clearly, and involve parents and caregivers in decisions about their child’s health.
I believe every child deserves an approach tailored to their age, personality, and individual needs, and I use patience, humor, and age-appropriate communication to help children feel comfortable and heard.
How do you accommodate patients with special needs?
I have experience caring for children with disabilities and complex/chronic medical conditions, and tailor my examinations and communication to each child’s abilities. I also work to ensure effective language access for patients who are Deaf or hard of hearing by having access to interpreter services when needed.
