What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
I enjoy spending quality time with my two children, as well as exercising, listening to music, and enjoying nature.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
Being the only doctor in my family, I’ve been told that back in elementary school I used to say I wanted to be a doctor for little kids while playing in a playhouse with my friends. My decision to become a doctor eventually took everyone by surprise, as I had been deeply involved in theater and literature throughout my high school years.
I decided to be a Pediatrician because I wanted to leave a positive impact on the lives of children and their families. I strive to make a difference that last for generations, not only supporting their physical well being but also contributing to their growth and development as individuals in all aspects of life.
In addition, I find children to be incredibly fun and inspiring, which makes working with them even more rewarding.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
The most important aspect of my practice is to truly listen to my patients, approach their experiences with empathy, and maintain humility to always learn from them. I strive to act thoughtfully on my diagnostic impression , integrating my medical knowledge, clinical experience and the patient's history to provide the best possible care.
