Pediatric care provider (PCP): PCPs are dedicated to supporting your child’s overall health. They’ll help you connect with members of the care team who specialize in mental and emotional health.

Behavioral health consultant (BHC): Your child’s PCP may refer them to a BHC for a 15-30 minute visit. The BHC will focus on a particular behavioral/mental health problem and help you create a plan to get your child healthier.

Medical assistant: A medical assistant is the first person you talk to when you have a health concern. They’ll work with the PCP and BHC to help get your child the right care.
