What is your favorite animated movie or cartoon?
Lion King - Loved the story telling, the sound track and the character development unique for its time.
What is your favorite children's book and why?
"Where the wild things are" - At the end family is what grounds you and what you can return to.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
"Transformers" - Combined my love for playing with transport toys and action figures, loved the ingenuity of the transformations.
Who is your greatest inspiration and why?
My father as he sacrificed his education and dreams to provide for his family.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Spending time with family, Religious study - Keeping yourself grounded and learning to focus on the real purpose of life and work towards what really matters at the end.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
I always enjoyed baby-sitting, entertaining my younger cousins while growing up and in medical school I found pediactirc speciality to be the uniquely rewarding and stimulating. Working with kids and their families, you really get a sense of sharing a bond and making a difference is someone's life in a meaningful way with your efforts.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
I consider myself to be a good listener and very patient. I try to be thorough and address concerns until satisfaction. With a lot of experiance I feel like I am able to put children at ease during their check ups.
