What is your favorite animated movie or cartoon?
Picking one favorite cartoon is tough because I love so many! I am an old-school Nickelodeon kid to my core. Some of my favorites are Spongebob SquarePants, Rugrats, CatDog, and Rocko's Modern Life. I also love some other classics like Recess and Arthur.
What is your favorite children's book and why?
My favorite children's book is 'Are You My Mother?' by P.D. Eastman. I love how the story shows the little birds journey of persistence and courage in trying to find it's place and connection in the world.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
WWE Titantron and Action Figures
Who is your greatest inspiration and why?
My greatest inspiration is my maternal grandmother, Gigi. She was a pillar of strength in my life, always pushing me to grow in my faith and to be the best version of myself. Her love and resilience were unwavering, even as she battled breast cancer until the end. The legacy she left behind is one of courage, faith, and unconditional love, and it continues to inspire me in everything I do.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
I love traveling, dancing, and going to professional wrestling events!
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
My inspiration comes from my deep love for children and my experience caring for my younger sister, who is autistic. While my parents were deployed, I took on the responsibility of looking after her, which gave me a firsthand understanding of the unique challenges and joys of caring for kids with special needs. This experience fostered my passion for ensuring that all children receive compassionate, individualized care. It's what motivates me to make a difference in their lives every day.
