"The Giving Tree" because it teaches generosity, love and selflessness as well as the importance of caring for others.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
Any toy given to me by my grandparents.
Who is your greatest inspiration and why?
My grandfather is my greatest inspiration. He was kind, patient, and selfless.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
I love playing soccer and anything that has to do with the outdoors and sunshine.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
My mother is a teacher and inspired me to want to make a difference in the lives of children.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
I am both Egyptian and Bosnian and have grown up in both the USA and Cairo, Egypt. I believe my diverse background helps me connect with others. I enjoy taking care of others from various backgrounds and learning about different cultures/languages.
