Despicable Me!

Dr Seuss' "Oh, the Places You'll Go!" is one of my favorite books to read to my son. There is so much depth and meaning in this book.

I loved all dolls and barbie dolls! I loved board games because it meant playing with my siblings and cousins.

My husband, because he is always kind and patient despite the most stressful of situations. He also has the best attention span!

Traveling to new places with my family, visiting loved ones in my home country, Trinidad and Tobago, makeup artistry and music!

I was inspired to pursue pediatrics by a deep appreciation for the impact early care has on a child’s lifelong health and development. I value the opportunity to support children as they grow while partnering closely with families during some of their most important and sometimes vulnerable moments. I am especially passionate about prevention, early childhood development, and helping parents feel confident in caring for their children. Building long-term relationships and seeing children thrive over time is what makes this work especially meaningful to me.

I provide evidence-based, family-centered pediatric care with a strong emphasis on prevention, early diagnosis, and continuity across all stages of childhood, including experience managing recurrent and complex conditions. What sets me apart is my commitment to clear communication, accessibility, and coordinated care—I translate medical information into practical guidance, involve families in shared decision-making, and ensure timely follow-up so they feel supported between visits. I build rapport by actively listening, creating a welcoming and judgment-free environment, engaging children in a way that reduces anxiety, and maintaining transparency and consistency with parents, so every family leaves feeling informed, confident, and reassured about their child’s care.
