What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
Interest in childhood development and the ever changing physiology. I also love kids.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
I find ways to relate to all cultures, making families feel comfortable with my approach. We, ultimately, have a more friendly relationship. I have a tendency to share things about myself and my life that helps families feel like I am relatable. It helps that I love to joke with the kids so that they are comfortable, as well. I give families space for their concerns and emotions when they are concerned about their children.
How do you accommodate patients with special needs?
Our facilities do just that. We make space for additional equipment, translation services, etc.
