Who is your greatest inspiration and why?
My parents and my son. My family is my greatest inspiration.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Family time, outdoors activities, and movies.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
Throughout med school I had the opportunity to learn a lot about the different medical sub-specialties, but the one that fascinated me the most was pediatrics, for its extent and ability to provide care opportunity to children, as the pediatrician seeks to prevent, diagnose and treat disease in young patients while trying to understand and relate to what they cannot express by themselves. Moreover, being an aunt of 5 children helped me develop sensitivity, responsibility and the acknowledgement that kids deserve.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
Connecting with my patients is my main goal. Making everyone count no matter the difficulties one has during hectic days.
