Q&A with Dr. Niroomand-Rad
What is your favorite animated movie or cartoon?
Moana and Mulan are my favorite Disney movies as they inspire all of us to know that "when there is a will, there is a way".
What is your favorite children's book and why?
"I AM Enough" by Grace Byers. She eloquently writes about and inspires children to embrace and love who they are and Be Kind to All Kind.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
A notebook for journaling.
Who is your greatest inspiration and why?
My parents who sacrificed a lot and gave me the opportunity to pursue my education, become the best version of myself by caring for others.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Reading, writing and nature walks as well as jogging, biking and mountain climbing.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
I always loved caring and working with children as I was growing up especially due to the fact that I was born in a country where the health care for infants and children was ignored and limited.
