What is your favorite animated movie or cartoon?
I always liked the original "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" People can be transformed if given the right opportunities.
What is your favorite children's book and why?
Good Night Moon, the prose is unexpected but lyrical.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
I don't really remember a favorite toy, when I learned to read I was hooked on books. They can take you to places that you have never been.
Who is your greatest inspiration and why?
My mother was an elementary school teacher, the world of learning was fascinating to her. My father was a physician, caring for people was his life. They both passed their passions on to me.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Reading and needlework
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
My first career was as a Neonatal Registered Nurse, moving on to General Pediatrics was the next best thing. I enjoy taking care of children and helping their families navigate health and sickness.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
Dr. Sabia and her husband have two children.
