What is your favorite animated movie or cartoon?
My favorite animated cartoons are Woody Woodpecker and Casper the Friendly Ghost.
What is your favorite children's book?
My favorite children’s book is Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory because I love the story and the pictures.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
My favorite childhood toys were a Stretch Armstrong and a 2-XL Computer Robot.
Who is your greatest inspiration?
My own pediatrician and a pediatrician I rotated with during med school - Dr. Barbara Evans from Cleveland OH.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Bowling, movies, crosswords, travel and tennis.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
My own pediatrician from many moons ago; also initiially i wanted to be and emergency room doc but after stating med school and doing rotations ER medicine wasn't what i thought it was; surprisingly i enjoyed my peds rotations the most; i felt like i could relate to the kids and enjoyed speaking with parents about their children; an acting internship and other peds elective rotations too proved to be my favorite and so my peds journey began
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
I AM a big kid at heart - this is what keeps me young; i am passionate about what i do and it shows; i am thorough and i listen well; also i love kids and have always been able to get down on their level or explain things to them in such a way that they know i care and understand;
