What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
My mother was a pediatric nurse & clinical manager for over 30 years. Her love for children and their families is infectious. Her selfless nature has always been what forced me to see beyond my own perspective. It was also always a dream of mine to be a part of child's life during their formative years and celebrate milestones with the families. Families with children need support and compassion in many forms. As a pediatric primary care provider, I am able to empower patients and families to promote good health, prevent disease, manage chronic and acute illness all while tailoring care based on individual needs.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
My faith reminds me daily of the importance of treating each child as a unique individual, worthy of love, dignity, and excellent care. I strive to reflect Christ’s love in the way I serve families—by listening with empathy, approaching challenges with patience and grace, and being present during both joyful and difficult moments. These values guide my interactions and help build genuine, trusting relationships with those I care for.
