What is your favorite animated movie or cartoon?
My favorite cartoons are Looney Tunes (especially Bugs Bunny) and The Road Runner Show.
What is your favorite children's book?
Where's My T.R.U.C.K.? by Karen Beaumont. This book is such a fun read and reminds me of days reading to my grandsons.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
My brother and I had Fisher Price Little People play sets that included towns and a castle. We used to play with these for hours.
Who is your greatest inspiration?
My greatest inspiration came from my DON at Flagler Hospital St. Augustine. It was her love of learning and passion for nursing that made her an amazing supervisor, provider, and colleague.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy bicycling, kayaking, fishing, and reading.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
Working in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit caused me to love caring for children. Seeing the difference in how kids deal with illness and injury, as opposed to adults, made me want to become more involved in injury and illness prevention.
