El Dr. Roques nació y creció en la República Dominicana, donde cursó sus estudios de medicina en la Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE). Posteriormente se trasladó a la ciudad de Nueva York para completar su residencia en pediatría en el Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center, convertido en miembro al Weill Cornell Medical College, en el Bronx. Tiene un interés especial en la medicina preventiva y la investigación, y realizó una beca de investigación a través del programa ECRIP en el Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center.

My hobbies and interests outside of work include jogging and reading.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
I was inspired by my godmother, who used to take me to her pediatric practice as a child as I showed interest in becoming a doctor at a young age. The care and dedication she placed on her patients inspired me to become a Pediatrician.
