As a child: Bugs Bunny, The Roadrunner, etc.

The Cat in the Hat I read it to my kids a lot and now I am reading it to my grandkids. They enjoy it and like to complete the sentences. A classic.

Wooden Building Blocks. My grandfather was a carpenter and made the blocks for me. I used to love to build bridges.

My mother. She loved us and pushed us to succeed. She always wanted me to become a doctor.

My hobbies and interests outside of work include trips to Disney World, being a University of Miami football season ticket holder, and spending time with family and friends.

Love being with children. Worked with children as a counsellor when younger. Once I went to medical school, it was obvious that I enjoyed Pediatric Medicine the most.
I just have a special connection with children.
I derive tremendous sense of purpose in guiding parents in raising their children and keeping them healthy.
Having worked now for 38 years, I have many 2nd generation patients which is very rewarding.

I am passionate about the importance of a healthy diet and exercise in prevention of obesity and chronic diseases and try to inspire families to make positive changes. I spend a lot of time on this topic at all well visits.
Over the years, I have become more holistic in my approach and accept that there are different ways to solve most issues. I have much experience with ADHD and Asthma and believe I can manage those conditions very well.
