What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
I was drawn to pediatrics at a young age and decided I wanted to pursue medicine in high school. I truly enjoy working with children and supporting them as they grow and develop. It is incredibly rewarding to help children feel comfortable and cared for while partnering with families to support their health and well-being. I also value the opportunity to advocate for children and families, helping make sure their needs and concerns are heard and that they have the support and resources they need to thrive.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
I strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment for children and their families feel comfortable, heard, and respected. I take the time to listen carefully, explain things clearly, and always involve families in decisions about their child’s care. I also place a strong emphasis on preventive care, development, and advocacy, with the goal of helping families feel informed and supported at every stage. Building trust is very important to me, and I hope each family leaves their visits with me feeling that they have received thoughtful and compassionate care.
