This is a hard one. Growing up it was always The Little Mermaid, once I had kids it changed to Moana because my daughter looks just like her. Right now, in 2025, I am totally into KPOP Demon Hunters!!!

Brown Bear, Brown Bear, what do you see? is my all time favorite. When my son was born 14 years ago, I got this gift as a baby shower gift. He loved it and we would read it every night. We passed it down to my daughter who loved it also. Now it is tradition to buy this book for any friend or family member expecting.

I had a Cabbage Patch doll - the bald boy and his name was Robert. Yes, I am an 80s baby and very proud of it!

My greatest inspiration is my dad. We immigrated to this country from Montreal, Canada in 1993 in search of a better life, and more opportunities. He didn't speak the language but he was fueled with determination, passion and a dream. He was such a force. He is the reason I am who I am today. He encouraged me to become a physician. He never gave up on me and always believed in me even when I did not believe in myself. I miss him dearly.

Working out, mainly weight training is my mental escape. I realized a long time ago that I can only be the best version of myself if I prioritize this time for myself. Without that, I will not be the best wife, mother, friend or doctor. I also believe that life is too short, so take that trip!! I am very much a YOLO type of person and I travel as much as I can. On the fun side, I enjoy decorating cakes! I took a cake decorating class in medical school and I fell in love with it. I make all my kids cakes every year for their birthdays as a tradition. I have come a long way but now I have 14 years of experience LOL

Ironically, I went to medical school to be an OBGYN. I had previously taken a leap year after college and worked at a Women's Center. However, when I did my 3rd year OBGYN rotation in medical school, I realized that I did not love it as much as I thought I would. My following rotation was in pediatrics at Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital. Much to my surprise, I absolutely fell in love with the medicine and my pediatric patients. I knew in that moment this is where I was meant to be.

I am a firm in believer in taking the time to listen to my patients/parents and validate their concerns when they come into my office. I went into medicine to help educate and guide my patients, provide reassurance when needed, and I really try to go the extra mile to make sure when they leave the office there are no further questions and we have a clear plan moving forward.
